Over the past couple of months, I've been doing some contract work for enspire. It's a nice way to fill some time with something more productive than watching tv, and it lets me clear my brain of the stuff from my full-time job.

Because I do have a full-time job, I can't do Enspire work until the evenings, and I rarely make it to the office. This combination of things has resulted in a nickname. I am apparently "night-time Steve". Somewhere between outsourcing and Santa Claus. They write me wishlists, and find gifts checked in in the morning.

So, anyway, I was at the Enspire Oktoberfest party last night, and finally met a bunch of the people I had been working with, and that's how I learned that I was a semi-mythical code-producing entity. There was also apparently a theory that I didn't really exist, and the VP of Technology was just using my name to check in code and get paid twice. I think I like this company.
